Senior Research Toxicologist, NSF International
Don Ward is a Senior Research Toxicologist who has been with NSF International since 2011. He has been working in NSF’s Green Chemistry and Sustainability Programs since 2013 reviewing products for recognition in EPA’s Safer Choice Program, profiling chemicals for EPA’s Safer Chemical Ingredients List (SCIL), reviewing ingredients for GreenBlue’s CleanGredients® database, performing hazard assessments using Clean Production Action's (CPA) GreenScreen® and reviewed Eco-Efficiency Analysis. Prior to joining the Green Chemistry team, he worked in the Standard 61 Drinking Water System Components program. Prior to joining NSF, he worked for over 10 years evaluating chemicals and materials used in automotive manufacturing for environmental health and safety at General Motors and Delphi Automotive. Don earned a Master of Science in Environmental Health Science from the University Of Michigan School Of Public Health in 1997 and is a member of the Society of Toxicology.
