Alberto De Conti is probably the only biochemist that moved from genes to jeans.
He began his career working on enzymatic applications for textiles in biotech labs in Milan, Vienna, and Berlin to then join the R&D group of Levi Strauss & Co.
After few years spent in product management, he became Global Director of Business Development & Innovation and led the development and implementation of global breakthrough product and innovation strategies for the Levi’s® brand.
Alberto is currently CMO at Garmon Chemicals where he leads company-wide efforts in response to evolving fashion market dynamics.
Alberto holds a doctorate in biochemistry from the University of Milan and an international MBA from the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School.
