Deputy Director
Ellen Goldberg joined Clean Production Action in 2011 and serves as Deputy Director. She oversees the organization's operations, finance, administration, technology, and organizational development while providing leadership across CPA's strategic initiatives. Ellen also leads the Chemical Footprint Project and CPA's Chemicals Management Working Group, helping to advance hazard-driven solutions that reduce chemicals of concern and accelerate adoption of safer chemicals and materials. She plays a key leadership role in fundraising, strategic planning, collaborative partnerships, and organizational management, supporting CPA's mission to drive market transformation through science-based tools and standards.
Prior to joining CPA, Ellen served as Chief Operating Officer at Concord Square Planning & Development, where she was responsible for financial and operational oversight, contracts, human resources, and technology. She also served as Director of Operations for Cathartes Private Investments, leading administration, marketing, technology, and business operations. Ellen earned her B.A. from Penn State and her MBA from Northeastern University's High Technology program.
